The Friends of Okanogan and Omak Libraries (FOOLs) group is a nonprofit organization made up of local volunteers. We strive to advance and encourage appreciation, understanding, enjoyment, and public use of our libraries.
We work in conjunction with NCW Libraries to keep the community informed on the needs of the library and help improve their facilities and program offerings. Through fundraising, we are able to sponsor special projects and securing funds for items that are beyond the scope of NCW Libraries' budget.

We are always looking for new FOOLs! The communities of Omak and Okanogan love their local libraries and becoming a member of the FOOLs is a rewarding way to foster community connections and support NCW Libraries efforts in providing additional activities and engaging programs.
The FOOLs have a virtual get-together on the third Thursday of each month at 7pm via Google Meet and everyone is invited to join us; here is the link:
